Hi, I am a skeleton racer, I live in New Zealand, and I spend 5 months of the year competing on the FIBT World Skeleton Tour. I competed in the 2006 Olympics and now I'm aiming for a Gold Medal in 2010. This blog is a way for me to keep in touch with friends and family, and anyone who wants to follow me on this journey. On Sunday I departed Wanaka head for Lake Placid

This off season, the support I found in Wanaka has been overwhelming;
Apparently they turned on the refrigeration plant at the tack here in Lake Placid just last night, so soon we will have ice. Yay.
I will keep you all updated on how it goes…the fun part starts soon.
